Marvel made a splash in early 1977 with the publication of What If? #1, as this first issue’s cover depicts the Amazing Spider-Man as the 5th member of the Fantastic Four! This “awesomely off-beat” series was a hit and its initial run lasted for 7 years. The offered example is pristine and has been graded Near Mint/Mint 9.8 by CGC. Adding to its desirability, the pristine condition is further enhanced by newsstand-fresh White Pages.
